Default Is there any Discworld GURPS adventure?

Hello, I'm new here, I'm a huge fan of Discworld and I want to create a game based on it, I reach this web because Steve Jackson Games has the official Discworld roleplay game, I bought the book but it does not seem to come with an adventure as far as I see.

I was wondering if you know any Discworld campaign that I can use, I've never actually DM any game and I feel confident in my skill to create some events and encounters, but the core theme of a Campaign is a different matter so I'll be glad to have some shoulder of giants I could stand on to start.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for buying the book!

It doesn't come with any fully detailed, maps-and-monster-stats scenarios, but it does come with a reasonably detailed scenario outline; "Lost and Found" (p. 385). There are also two slightly more sketchy outlines; "Full Court Press" (p. 391) and "Sektoberfest in NoThingfjord" (p. 394). Then there are more brief ideas on pp. 398-400, and some suggestions in box-outs elsewhere.

As I said, these may not have as much detail as you've encountered in scenarios for other games, which is partly a matter of space available, but also reflects the style of game you may be expected to play by default. Most Discworld games will have fewer life-and-death fights requiring full opponent stats and floor plans, and more short, often non-combat encounters where you just need one or two attributes and skills for the NPCs, and you can often guess at these - 12 for basic competence, 15 for real expertise in a skill.

There are also some more scenarios and ideas on this site - just search for "Discworld scenario" or "Discworld adventure". Unfortunately, these are more or less all for the first edition of the game, so the character stats will be slightly different, but you should be able to adapt them quite easily.

The book has a number of capsule ideas for campaigns scattered through it, mostly in chapter 11, one longer outline - "The Brown Islands", p. 373 - and two slightly briefer ones - "Wadi El-Rukl". p. 381, and "Cart Wars", p. 383. But step one is really to chat with your prospective players and see what they're interested in playing; they may well give you a good campaign idea for themselves.

I hope that helps. Anyway, thanks again for your interest.

The GURPSwiki listing has even more information for those wanting GURPS related information on Discworld.
