Default Munchkin Zombies Tough

If you have the power "Tough" and your fighting multiple monsters and the first one kills you do you still have to run away from the remaining monsters?

Well yes, because you didn't actually die. Tough prevented it.

Becareful here. Tough doesn't say you don't die. In paraphrase, it says that the only bad effect you suffer from dying is that you discard your hand.
I'd say that you don't need to run from the other monsters in combat, otherwise you should have to do so when you die without Tough since there is plenty of bad stuff out there that can still apply to you (such as level loss).

Combat is correct: Tough doesn't prevent death, it merely softens the blow.
