when use item enhancers and monster enhancers on steeds ?

Hi,

I read this post about "When can I play" , but I am not sure about item enhancers and monster enhancers played on steeds, so I prefer asking for better explanation.

Item enhancers are not specified in the post, so I would say they are just like items : At any time during your turn or as soon as you get them (except during combat).

Monster enhancers on steeds : the rule says we can play monster enhancers cards on steeds (when we choose them as steeds, so they are considered as items). Does this make the monster enhancer a kind of item enhancer (so the rule above applies), or is it still a monster enhancer and the rule from the post applies (Anytime during any combat. Or, at any time on a Mook or Monk or Epic Werewolf, according to the rules for those cards.)

I think you'll notice that all Item(and Steed) Enhancers are, themselves, Items. If not all, they are precious few that aren't Items. In other words, they follow the rules of Items themselves, but also consider the role of cards. Most cards can only be played on your turn, and those that aren't tell you when you can play them or have rules for them (e.g., Race and Class cards).

At any rate, Steed Enhancers are special Item Enhancers that can only be used on Steeds, so they'd follow suit in behavior.

- monster enhancers (like enraged or baby) when they are played on steeds are items enhancers, so follow the rules of items.

For hirelings, the rule says :

So if a rival makes his hireling Ancient (+2
bonus), you could play Baby to it at any time (even in combat), making it a
Baby Ancient Hireling with only a +1 bonus.

The rival can't play his Ancient on his own hireling during a combat, but opponents may do so ? Or hirelings enhancers follow separate rules ?

Um, no. In fact, I made no mention of Monster Enhancers. Steed Enhancers are cards that say Steed Enhancer on them. Playing Monster Enhancers on Steeds would still follow the basic rules for Monster Enhancers, which are one-shot cards which normally can only be played during any combat. However, for this added purpose, they can be played at any time the conditions exist that allow you to play them (typical behavior of one-shot cards). You can't play "Baby" on a Steed that doesn't exist (and, technically, already have a positive modifier on it), obviously.

Also, can an item enhancer be played on a steed? Like Shiny or such.

Permanent and yes.

Monster enhancers give a permanent bonus.

Steeds are items so yes you can play item enhancers on them.

Excuse me, but doesn't that means that regular Item enhancers can not be played on Steeds?

Unless I did not do my search of the database properly, all the normal Item Enhancers are not Items, so no, that rule doesn't say that.
