[Magic] Weaken Blood as a Weapon Enchantment
I've been trying to make a pretty mean demonic weapon using standard magic and I thought about using Weaken Blood to make a weapon that can kill even if its wielder loses the fight. The problem is that Weaken Blood can only be enchanted into an item that affects the wielder for 200 energy (which is cheap considering the casting cost of 9 energy).
What would be a fair energy cost if the weapon conferred the disadvantage on every hit that did damage? Going from "affects wearer" to "usable by mages" seems to entail increasing energy cost by a factor of 2 to 2.5. What do you think is a fair price hike for going from "affects wearer" to "affects damaged target"? Five times the energy cost or less? Anything specific to Weaken Blood that could affect this?
I realize that I don't need detailed stats for weapons in the hand of random demons or cultists, but there is a chance that the PCs will try and sell this thing or pay someone to reverse-engineer it. I'm also interested in extending the capabilities of enchantment in general. Pity there's no spell design system.
