On Twitter, Andrew asks whether we usually save booster wrappers or trash them.
For my part, they usually end up in the trash, since I rip them open. Most of my boxes I save, though I can't really say why... (Well, I save the CORE boxes to put cards and other stuff in. Don't know why I save the expansion boxes.) I'm just hoping that this question isn't a prelude to some sort of booster wrapper trade-in program. That would kind of suck. ;-) Last edited by Mister Ed; 10-30-2012 at 12:36 PM. |

Weirdly enough I save mine. Not sure why, just do. I also save my boxes.

I save at least two, trash the rest. I also save the boxes for the most part. Great for storing extra small gaming items.

I always throw the booster wrappers out. I had been keeping the boxes, but in one move where saving space was vital, I threw all the boxes out. I just didn't have room. I soon bought the BoH to store them in later, though.

I've moved all my cards into 3 Boxes of Holding (1 BOH, 1 Cthulhu, 1 Zombies).
My expansion boxes I cut open and folded flat and stored them in one of the main boxes. And all the booster wrappers in another box. I might end up chucking them if I really need the space. But I figure I want to store the main boxes anyway, its nice to look at them lined up on the shelf. Also useful to check the printing dates on them to compare to any newer versions that might come out. |

I save mine. I like the art work and store the cards in them when I'm not using them in a deck. I cut them open very carefully.

I have every box, wrapper, and cardboard from dice or bagged items. I cut the fronts off my expansion tuckboxes though. I keep all packaging in one bix, all rule sheets in one box, all promos in a third.

I have a little pile of booster wrappers and a few rows of empty boxes displayed in my shelf, along with the three empty versions of the Boxes of Holding for the various sets (with a 2nd Fantasy Boxes of Holding). Cards are all in the Sammlerkoffer for now, although I'll start making use of those Boxes/Crypts/Lockers again when that fills up.

Booster wrappers without a 2nd thought go into the trash. Boxes (both core and expansions) I kept for some reason (I dont use them to store cards). Then the Midnight Munchkin Madness card came out and then I had a justified reason to keep them.
