Which original munchkin print edition to purchase...

Being that this is my first time to start playing I bought the 13th edition of the original version.

My question is, is there a benefit to purchasing the latest edition of the original version due to better cards and newer rules? Or is my version ok and I can read the updated rule sheet online and the only difference in cards is the fact that mine are not in color and the cards are the same?
