Multiple Monsters and Combat

If you're fighting two hypothetical monsters where one says "fight with your level only", does that count against all the monsters?

If another says "swords count double", that wouldn't matter because swords aren't in the fight?

And of course if one says "swords don't count", and the other says "footgear don't count", then the whole combat is without swords and footgear?
