Death and Multiple Monsters

If you're fighting multiple monsters and you fail to runaway from the first one that has "death" as its bad stuff... do you still suffer the bad stuff from the other monsters as well?

Once you are dead you do not need to run away from the other monsters.

Good to know! I suppose it would be beneficial, then, to try to run away from any monsters that include Death as their Bad Stuff, so that if you fail, you don't have to suffer the other Bad Stuff as well.
