And, as promised, bought. :-)

Probably only 20-ish Classic items still left in my wishlist...

I'm glad you all discovered it's now on e23 and were true to your word. I may have been a smidge misleading when I said, "If we do upload it someday..." :-)

Popped in looking for the thread. I thought it was funny it was up for sale today after the glitch a little earlier.

Sorry for a bit of thread hijacking here but what is the best way to request e23 releases? I know there is an e23 speculation thread but shouldn't we have a thread to request releases such as GURPS: Imperial Rome. I would love to see classic Psionics and Voodoo released. Thanks for looking.

Pretty much everything that is in their library is going to be released in e23. Eventually. Unless it's licensed (so I have hopes that they'll get licenses for Alpha Centauri, Blue Planet, Humanx, and Uplift, but not very strong hopes...).

I'm still waiting for: Bestiary, Grimoire, High Tech, Magic Items 3, Monsters, Psionics, Robots, Rogues, Space Atlas 4, Space: Terradyne, Spirits, Supers, Supers: IST Kingston, Supporting Cast, SWAT, Time Travel, Time Travel Adventures, Ultra Tech 1, Villains, Voodoo, and Warriors. And there's probably a few others that, if they get published, I'll buy them on a whim.

Just in case somebody is taking notes the tops of my personal wishlist of non-licensed Classic releases are Space Atlas 4, Voodoo, Time Travel Adventures and Bestiary, in that order.

My personal opinion is that given the current lack of a 4E bestiary, a logical high priority release would be Classic Bestiary since it's both out of print and probably recent enough that they can create the PDF from the source files without needing to scan a physical copy, but that's entirely up to SJGames. I can still hope though. :-)

Edit: GURPS IST Kingston was published by Modern Myth Publishing, not SJGames, so I don't think we'll ever see it through e23.

Quite so. That's been made fairly clear. What decides what gets done sooner is presumably a complicated mixture of what they reckon will sell best, what they've got clean DTP files lying around for, what fits some kind of pattern or theme at the time, and sheer randomness. A pester-list wouldn't really add anything to their relevant knowledge (a couple of fanatics battering their keyboards to death wouldn't actually say anything useful about likely sales), and would just be something else for some staffer to have to monitor and spend work time posting to ("That's licensed", "We'd have trouble getting a clean scan", "Actually, we released that three years ago"...)

Patience is a virtue.

3e Bestiary was a very nice book. On the other hand, converting animal stats is often enough like hard work (ST usually needs to be recalculated and often eyeballed, which tends to have knock-on effects on damage and suchlike, and other stats quite often need tweaking, and all the templates would need substantial reworking) that it would only be really useful to the sort of serious GURPS fans who probably already have the book in hard copy.

Which is why we only ask for In Nomine Anime once or twice a year, rather than every week...

Bugger.

Oh well. I'll have to check to see if I've bought Supers: IST yet.
