I just hadn't yet had a chance to ask Bob to throw a link in there yet. 'Twas the weekend, you see!
I saw that one, but I didn't see that it was linked from the product page. Nowadays, I mostly look at the e23 page instead of the actual product page...

In case anyone does decide to use this template in their games (a decision presumably aided by the ingestion of copious amounts of alcohol), I had a power-up written for him that I decided to cut because I felt it muddled the DI:
Blessings Upon Distant Fire
4 points

Prerequisite: Torch Blessing.

You can grant your Torch Blessing to any lantern or torch you can see, instantly lighting it and protecting it for the next five minutes. (If there's any question of whether you can see it, the GM should call for a Vision roll.) The blessing does not require a roll, but it counts as your attack; a streak of fiery light flies from your hand to the torch. You may have multiple torches protected at once -- with a few seconds of preparation, you can guarantee that everyone in the party has a source of unquenchable light!

Statistics: Replace Torch Blessing [16] with Burning Attack 1d-3 (Accessibility, Lanterns and torches only, -40%; Cosmic, Lingering effect, +100%; Cosmic, No die roll required, +100%; Cyclic, 31 10-second cycles, +1,500%; Increased Range, LOS, +40%; Long-Range 2, +100%) [19] + Unusual Training (Master of Torchcraft) [1].

I know when I saw the title of the DI and then the content I instantly thought:

The DF-Olympics, bringing Adventuring to the sporting world!

The Ten-Foot Pole-Vault

The Orc Decapitholon

The Long Jump (over a pit of spikes)

200 meter hurdle (on fire!)

And of course, Dwarf-Tossing

Of course that's just me.

Cool. I did see the Illuminator for that one bu hadnt seen it on the product page yet.
I have all kinds of links to the product pages for specific books or series so appreciate anything on them that may encourage a sale :)

I got behind on my GURPS stuff this year but the new job should let me catch up pretty soon. Yay. Course now I do not have as much free time, darn tradeoffs.

Oh come on! Nobody tosses a Dwarf! Now, Halfling-Tossing is another deal altogether. A half-orc or ogre barbarian using the halfling thief in a fastball-special is a time-honored tradition!

If you don't care quite as much about the little guy's comfort, you could launch him with a football-style kick instead. IIRC from the thread discussing that option, you'd treat it as a normal throw, but with -2 DX and +2 (or +20%) ST, akin to the Using the Legs rule (MA79).

That should definitely be there.

I think Bruno already came up with this...

As promised, we've got that link up. Now "I Always Carried A Torch For You" is linked from the resources for GURPS Dungeon Fantasy 15: Henchmen -- just like "You Might Have A Point There" was linked from GURPS Power-Ups 5: Impulse Buys earlier, and like <FNORD> will be linked to GURPS Social Engineering in the not-so-distant future.

Also, I feel there is some read thread drifting here, perhaps we should start a new thread for idly discussing this - rather than all crowding over a DF15 thread.
