Hrm.
Example: Burning Attack 3 * Area Effect (2 yard radius), +50% * Aura, +80% * Cyclic (1 second interval) (3 cycles), +200% * Cyclic (Contagious) (Highly), +50% * Selective Area, +20% * Selectivity, +10% * Underwater, +20% * Variable, +5% * Melee Attack (Reach C), -30% "Underwater" allows the power to operate under water but at one-tenth the range; not a problem unless the character has enabled "Area Effect" ... does "Underwater" also reduce the area covered by "Area Effect"? If not, then then my question is answered. :grins: If it does, suggestions on how to make "Area Effect" retain its' full radius when underwater? |

Quote:
A normal attack applies at a point up to 100 yards away. Area Effect 1 makes it apply in a circle with a 2-yard radius centered at a point up to 100 yards away. Underwater makes it apply at a point up to 10 yards away. Underwater plus Area Effect 1 makes it apply in a circle with a 2-yard radius centered at a point up to 10 yards away. The text for Underwater mentions nothing about radius, or area. So there's no reason to suppose it affects them. Bill Stoddard |

Also, you've got no Range anyway, since it's an Aura which requires Melee Attack (Reach C)!
