A wrestling move immortalized in Canada as the "Shawinigan Handshake."

For a not-Canadian thing that happened pretty near Canada, and is rife with secret possibilities, check out Project Iceworm

Interesting historical note. During World War II, the British experiments in weapons of mass destruction were moved to Canada. Had the Americans not started the Manhattan Project, the first atomic bomb probably would have exploded in Saskatchewan.

Obviously leading to the Manacolypse granting the polar bears a hive-mind and a hatred for humanity, rather than that happening with Penguins at the South Pole.

Meaning that you have a GURPS Technomancer setting with Alaska under siege.

Last I heard, the company has a secure Anchorage.

Speaking of Indians, how much support is there in GURPS for playing Indians or other TL0 hunter-gatherers? GURPS Ice Age has some; is there anything else?

Low-tech devotes a considerable page count to tech level zero and tech level one equipment.

The Uboats of the St.Lawrence river come to mind...
I can imagine a German Uboat crew foraging for food several hundred km inland, and being set apon by a possie of locals.
