This is the thread where we will compile proposed errata to Ultra Tech. This is intended to put it all together into one place where it will be easy for SJ Games to review and add to the official errata.
What we don't want:
Errata are typos (already mostly fixed) or stat-line issues that can be easily remedied. Big changes, or changes likely to trickle down to other published material or already-running games, belong in Pyramid articles or e23 supplements (there are already several very good ones). More importantly, changes that require big changes to the Ultra Tech document aren't likely to make it in anyway. The goal of this thread is to make it as easy and painless as humanly possible to get UT polished up. It's a labor of love from fans. |

This post is where iffy errata will be parked. (By "iffy", I mean changes that aren't totally no-brainers.) |

I don't know why I'm reserving a third reply, but I'm sure it will come in handy. Fun thought: What separates strategy from tactics is path dependence. When a good long-run outcome comes from something other than a series of good short-runs, then you have strategy. |

I'll kick things off.
(Thanks Ectropy) The surveillance worm (p105) is listed as 2" by .1" and 2 lbs. This is way too heavy for its intended purpose and nonsensically dense. Based on the Size Modifier rules, there are three possible resolutions:

I don't actually have a solution, but I think I've found an item in need of clarification for the errata, at least:
On p.56, the entry for Memory Augmentation AR programs seems to lack a market price. Unless I'm just blind, of course. |
