I know it is a useful advantage and apparently doesn't get taken nearly as much as other equally priced, but less useful advantages.

What is the actual mathematical utility of it though, given that you get the best of 3 every x minutes; versus either extra stats, skills or alternate advantages.

I guess it depends on how often you roll every X minutes menaing it is more useful if you can avoid rolling as much as possible.

Someone with better probability maths than me?
