Default [Spaceships] Improving the ship's Complexity Rating.

For my under construction space setting, I have made it so your ship's maximum cruising speed is controlled by the Complexity Rating of the ship's network. The idea being that the more processing power you throw at the engines, the more efficiently they can slip through subspace like greased lightning (i.e. speed boost without significantly increasing power demand).

So was wondering, have I overlooked some way to improve a ship's CR without increasing either size or TL? If there isn't, I might be able to cludge something together from the ultra-tech computers and make a dedicated computer ship system. But I would like to avoid that if possible.
