Default [DF] Fantasy Adventures published in Pyramid

I'm looking for various adventures published in Pyramid which would be suitable for use with Dungeon Fantasy -- or can be made so with a little effort. I seem to recall one such adventure that had very nice maps. I can't recall much about the details. I think it was either in the PDF format or in Pyramid Online published in the latter years near the end of that format. I also feel it had an elemental theme - air, water, fire, and earth I think. I believe I've got all the zipped online Pyramids but I don't have an index. Any assistance naming the adventure I'm looking for would be appreciated.

I'd also be interested in any other DF adventures or ones appropriate to DF that have been published in Pyramid. I'd like adventure name, Pyramid # and/or publication date.

Thanks in advance,

- James (aka griffin)

I think you'd be better off looking for locations that have been statted out and then build an adventure around the location based on the adventure seeds that usually accompany them.

This is the only free one that I could find. It even has an entry to a dungeon underneath.

Thanks for the advice, but I know what I'm looking for. I don't have time to design full adventures based on adventure seeds. I need full blown adventures that I can re-work to fit my needs. The adventure I'm thinking of I recall thinking would be good for a dungeon crawl ala DF. It may need to be adjusted for point level and tone but should work. Since I also plan on using Aspected Mana I'm pretty sure I'll need to add that in places, but given the elemental theme I don't think that will be a problem.

Thanks for the pointer but the adventure you mention is in a modern theme issue. What I'm looking for would be either in a general issue of PAST/fantasy issue. It had really nice full color hex-grid maps.

I think you're looking for:
The Labyrinth of Five Essences; An Adventure for GURPS; by Matt Riggsby.
Article 6579; Publication date: September 7, 2007.

You asked for "various adventures published in Pyramid which would be suitable for use with Dungeon Fantasy -- or can be made so with a little effort". You could turn that article into a full adventure in ten minutes. Put the temple in the nearest town, pick an interesting seed and expand it a little, jot down a couple of NPCs, and scribble out a sketch of the catacombs underneath. The rest can be handled by random encounter tables and random treasure tables.

I remember writing two dungeon crawls for web-Pyramid, both of which included maps but only one of which was specifically for DF. The non-DF one was "Labyrinth of Five Essences" (0907.3.html in the 2007 directory) and will need significant up-scaling for use with DF characters. The DF one is "The Search For Ed," 0523.5.html, 0530.4.html, and 0606.html in the 2008 directory, and may need adjustment in light of additional DF books which have come out over the past few years.

Nope. None of the web-Pyramid stuff is available in any way at this point. If you didn't grab it when you had access, you're out of luck.

Sorry, no. Mirror of the Fire Demon was written and playtested before DF14 became available. Maybe in future adventures, if sales of this one justify more.

Yes, I'm rather fond of it, too.
