So, according to Ultra-Tech, an object within a stasis web cannot be affected in any way by outside forces.

What, then, is to stop a starship designer from enclosing each piece of the armor plating in its own perfectly invincible stasis field, rendering the vast majority of the ship invulnerable?

Is there any mechanism to prevent stasis web-encased objects from being used as perfect shields, or is it just one of those "GM's problem" issues?
