Default [Blue Max Studios] Three new spacecraft for the Black Desert setting!

Sorry about the absence on this - work stress will eat your darn brain.
Ships of the Black Desert: The Maquisa Gras

"The EurAfrican Space Agency's Transpot Orbital-44 Marquisa Gras has been a mainstay of space-born cargo lines for almost sixty years. Not only do these workhorses of the Black Desert regularly ply the Lunar run, they are one of the most common inter-colonial freighters in the asteroid nodes."

The Marquisa Gras is a utility craft; it's good at what it does, but not much else. That being said, it is easily modified, cheap and built to work an any airless environment without assistance, making these ships perfect for any starting group of PCs.

This 11-page PDF includes:
  • A full-page deckplan in sharp detail, suitable for increasing to poster size,
  • A detailed description of the Marquisa Gras in the context of the setting's history,
  • Close up views of all the essential areas of the vessel along with full explanations
  • Advice for the Game Master on how to incorporate the Marquisa Gras into an existing campaign,
  • Gaming stats that are compatable with all OpenD6 products,
  • And a page of 1-inch scale battle maps!

Whether you need a simple spacecraft for NPCs or are a new gaming group looking for your first ride, the Marquisa Gras just the spacecraft you need. Order yours today!

Also, there is an ambulance variant that is the fastest spacecraft built and this is designed to work with the Conestoga rover, converting cargo bay to living quarters.

Ships of the Black Desert: The MC-30 Command Module

Born of necessity from the Turing Fallacy and subsequent AI mass desertions, the MC-30 Command Module is a self-contained world where the business of space is conducted on a daily basis. These Command Modules, each capable of performing as Mission Control for anything from a space station to the largest of interplanetary vehicles, can be found across the black desert of space and serve as the nerve centers of space travel in the twenty-third century.

In addition to two fully detailed maps, this 25 page PDF includes:
  • The history of the Command Module's design and development,
  • A full explanation of all rooms in the interior and all major systems in the Module
  • Adventure seeds and tips for GMs on how to use the Command Module in a Black Desert or OpenD6 campaign,
  • Ship's statistics in the OpenD6 rules variation used in The Black Desert Campaign Setting,
  • And a complete set of eight battle maps for use with one inch square counters and miniatures!

As the proud owner of the .pdf file of this, this is one of Blue Max's largest plans to date. Not only does it give you a set of floor plans, but some basics of crewing a spacecraft under a realistic setting. Take a look! Also, once the ISP plans are finally finished, this is likely to be one of the major components of it.
----
Ships of the Black Desert: The "Star Turtle"
Silly name, Serious spacecraft...

Blue Max Studios is proud to present our longest, most detailed set of deckplans yet! The Star Turtle, a class of scratch-built spaceplanes made from open-source plans, is the vehicle of choice from the fozen tundra of Europe to the Martian enclaves in Australia. It can fly like a plane with its electric prop, blast off from anywhere with its L-Drives, and climb into orbit and beyond on a fusion powered belly thruster! The tough Outbackers that build these ships are rough and ready to "fab, feed or fight" for anything they want, no matter who gets in the way. Now your OpenD6 game can have this kind of action excitement and technology. Order yours today!

This 29 page PDF includes:
  • Four full color sheets of deckplans, in sharp detail,
  • A full description of the history of the spacecraft, from it's orgins as a failed mility project to the present,
  • Complete descriptions of every compartment and all the major features,
  • Special rules about damaging sensitive equipment during Character-scale combat,
  • A brief overview of life on board and advice for the GM,
  • Adventure seeds and full stats in our BD6 rules variant (available FREE!),
  • And seven pages of battle maps!
Silly name, but it honestly looks pretty good. Its a go anywhere and do it type space craft. From luxury yacht, to rescue ship, Star Turtle variants do it all, making it a likely civilian craft in BD games.

To top it all off, Blue Max Studio's Ray McVay has also written a teaser article about robots in the Black Desert setting for D6 Magazine, from the ubiquitous Cargo Arm, to the Astrobot, to humaniform robots, its a good start. It also includes information about teleoperation of the robots and their stats.
-----
Last but not least, the Blue Max Studios blog had a post about guns and other items in the Black Desert setting. If you're curious about the setting please take a look.

Oh, and one more thing - I will suggest the Black Desert plans to folks who have also purchased In Flames another Hard SF D6 product.
