Mick thinks about helping the old guy, but figures that he shouldn't bother. Still -- his IV bag is empty and he doesn't want problems with that. So he reaches over and pushes the nurses button.

He notices that there is no light going on for the call light and no bells, also the nurse doesn't seem to be coming. The whole place is dark, not even lights on the IV machine. It is really really dark in this place, even with the door open. He also hears someone screaming from another room.

Screw this -- doesn't anyone realize that they are treating a celebrity (whoops, of course not! -- Mick checks the ID bracelet on his arm, and if it says Elmer, he rips it off and puts it in the garbage). He then wanders out of the room to see what all the ridiculous screaming is about and why no nurse has come around and where he is and (finally) to find a phone so he can call his producer and get the heck out of here.

He should have known better than to go back to Detroit.
