By 1934, The Germans had begun to build standardized military vehicles for the Wehrmacht instead of militarizing civilian designs. The Kfz 2 entered production in 1936, and was built by Stower, BMW and Hanomag. It was a basic 4x4 vehicle, and most often used as a radio car. The car can carry one driver and three passengers seated in exposed seats with a ragtop. The Kfz 2 burns 1.7 gallons of gasoline per hour at routine usage. A full tank of petrol costs $2.25.
