I'm seriously thinking of taking (for my world jumping character) Jumper (World), with the Tracking enhancement, and Snatcher. That way, I can attempt to find (and jump to) new worlds by Snatching items from those worlds.

This is a neat idea, but I can't see it adding much outside of a solo game unless there's some way for the rest of the PCs to go along, too... "Hey guys, I just followed this pair of fuzzy dice to a whole world of hot-rodding octopi currently in its 1950s!" "That's nice... Too bad we can't get the coordinates and send a Conveyor there, we could use an eight-armed mechanic..."

Yes AFAICT from discussion here without owning the IW book, but does one translate directly to the other without significant effort? I thought Infinity had to search long and hard (and even then get lucky) to obtain the mechanical coordinates for worlds discovered by "organic" jumpers... |

... wouldn't it be cheaper to just take this enhancement instead? [+50] vs [+80] for an unmodified Snatcher? |
