Default Space Infantry Squad

Here is an attempt at starting to stat out a basic infantry squad for a TL 10 Space Game

There are no disadvantages (beyond duty) listed, but they could optionally have some. They are supposed to be fully equipped, so some suggestions on omissions are needed. It is supposed to be an ordinary fully trained but not elite unit

Veteran units will have higher skills and likely more and better toys

Some units will be less well equipped and less trained, in particular the Star Republic has been known to omit the squads robots, reduce ammo loads, and issue pistols with pistols stocks as substitute carbines. Also specialists such as marksmen, gunners and grenadiers are sometimes in short supply so not all squads will have one

Notes on modified equipment - the IMLs are in this case supposed to be something like a futuristic LAW, they are fired from the shoulder using Guns Anti Tank Rocket, not Artillery

The 40mm Mortar Box is modified to be a stocked weapon similar to an M79, it is break action and loaded with 4 40mm grenade launcher tubes like those used in the underbarrel grenade launcher

The implant video comm is standard for all troops (it is a cheap minor procedure) and the military version also includes a HUD linking to the weapon. All squad HUDs also display where the squad leaders weapon is pointing so he can direct fire - raw conscripts which have not been able to get implanted will sometimes be issued a radio

Usually a big guy, if even stronger will have more D cells

10 tubes HE grenades, 10 tubes HEMP, 10 tubes smoke
Bayonet (which doesn't attach to his grenade launcher, so just a knife for him)
(The grenadier will be a big guy with at least 11 ST)

Also the squad includes a robot mule which carries tents, food, and spare ammo and also a aerial scout robot
