Ohhh Munchkin Deluxe... I like the sound of that. I'm assuming it'll be coming the cards from Munchkin 1? And if so any word of a Munchkin Deluxe minus the cards set?

I have a Kill-o-Meter, and the new Zombie one looks cool, but does the article mistake how a KoM should be used? - Or have I been using it incorrectly. I thought it was to be used for adding a Munchkin's (and/or Monster's) combat strength. I could be wrong, but I also don't consider MTV to be the most accurate news source.

Yes, they do mis-state the purpose of the KoM, but meh. The real news is the products themselves!!

Mr. Morgan came by our booth a couple of times and the information he put in his article is adapted from our own sell sheets. He seems like a smart guy, so if he missed the purpose of the Kill-O-Meter, that's probably a failure of our marketing text.
(If you REALLY want to be amused, hope that his overlords at MTV give him the approval to post the video of the interview he conducted with a certain Czar who shall remain nameless . . .) It is likely, but not certain, that we'll find a way to make the Munchkin Deluxe game board available separately for long-time Munchkin fans. (And yes, the cards in Deluxe are exactly the ones from core fantasy Munchkin -- well, the six player cards are new, but they aren't necessary to play the game, just a nice extra for newbies.) The cards in the Munchkin Zombies Kill-O-Meter and Munchkin Cthulhu Crypts of Concealment aren't strictly promo cards, since they're in every set of MZKOM or MCCoC and not available separately, but I can forgive that phrasing since I misstated it myself several times recently. (And to be utterly clear, these are two separate pairs of cards.) What's sad are the things we couldn't tell him about yet, like exactly what's going on with those big dice Phil keeps tweeting pictures of, or the titles of this year's Halloween and Christmas boosters for classic fantasy Munchkin.
