Also note the Grab and Smash rule in MA, pg 118. It gives the second attack of an AoA (Grapple & Strike) a damage bonus equivalent to AoA (Strong). While this is written for close-in thrusting attacks (knife stab, elbow-to-the-face etc) I'd let it apply to a bite as well.
