Well, the forum anyway. Couldn't find the answer for our question.

We have played a couple games and this came up and we were not sure by the rules so,

Gummi Golem.. and the like. He won against a player and helper. Does the helping curse part go against both players or just the player who would end up with the card?

It's not actually a curse, as that's a card type. The Bad Stuff for a monster can affect both main player and helper, since if they fail to defeat the monster(s) they must each make a roll to Run Away for each in the order they choose. So if both players failed their rolls, then yep, both get stuck with whatever the Bad Stuff says they do.
