All of these relate to the Munchkinomicon card going to the top of the treasure deck.
1) At the start of the game, does the Munchkinomicon card go on top of the treasure deck before each player takes 4 doors and 4 treasures, or immediately after? Or, does the first player start the game with the Munchkinomicon in his/her hand as one of his/her 4 treasures, or does it go to the first person to draw a treasure card in the run of play after everyone has their hands? 2) If one is playing with the Munchkinomicon and the Sparkly Good Fairy (SGF), and the Munchkinomicon is currently residing on top of the treasure deck, and someone kills the SGF, which has the effect that the remaining SGF treasure cards go on top of the regular treasure deck, do they cover the Munchkinomicon, or does the Munchkinomicon return to the top of the treasure deck somehow? 3) Someone has the Munchkinomicon, and sells it to go up a level or discards it for some other reason, placing it on the top of the treasure deck. They can't get it later that turn if they draw from the treasure deck, but can they use the "Summon the Book" spell to call it back to them (getting it back and getting another spell as part of that process?) My apologies in advance if these aren't sufficiently related - if the moderators let me know via private message that it isn't, I'll edit the post to split these up into 3 separate posts. Regards, aeronaut

This all assumes there's not something missing in my pre-print copy of the rules, or that I've misinterpreted what I do have. Andrew will correct me if needed. |

Thanks, Erik. Appreciate the help and clarifications. Suspected the last two, wasn't sure at all about #1.

Unless Andrew says I'm wrong, I'm not changing my ruling, but I do want to point something out. Now that I have access to non-playtest rules, I see there's one line at the end of the rules about not being able to draw the Munchkinomicon if you've discarded it for some reason in that turn, and it says if you must draw from the deck, to set it aside. However, I still feel that the Summon The Book's cardy nature overrides the rules' ruley nature, and this doesn't constitute "drawing from the Treasure deck," but specifically targeted at one very specific card.

Not to say that I ever had access to the playtest version of the rules. Regards, aeronaut
