Okay, just watched this in a game my son and his friends are playing, all of whom are really beginners to the games.
Daniel is level 9 and fighting what has been increased to a level 17 pit bull. Mark also level 9 and an elf offers to help. Daniel reluctantly accepts seeing no other option. Mark then uses Charm to make the monster go away. Both stay level 9 and now it's Mark's turn. They all found this funny and devious and the game continued. Just checking: should the game have ended as soon as Mark agreed to help because his 9 levels (and whatever bonuses) added to Daniel's total was over 17, or does he still have time to use his Charm the same way people go back and forth playing bonuses?
