Throwing sticks between the legs of a running munchkin

Hi there,

we just had the following situation:
A player could not defeat the monster which reduces you to level 1 if it catches you. He decided to run away and the other munchkins wanted to make sure the coward faces the bad stuff. One of them plays the card that duplicates the existing monster.

My question is: When is the last moment that card may be played?
- Before the player announces that he wishes to flee.
- After the announcement but before the dice roll.
- After the dice is rolled.

By the way, is there a site which lists all card names in multiple languages?
