Default Cutting with spurs

Villains in Westerns seem to enjoy throwing victims to the ground and cutting them on the face with their spurs. Presumably, this would be an attack against a prone target, who may also be stunned - so they probably won't be able to defend against the attack. So the attacker could use a Telegraphic Attack to get a bonus to minimize the penalty for attacking the face. So far so good.

The question is: what is the damage of a spur? My first thought would be to treat it as a kick (stomp or regular) but convert it to cutting - sound good?
