I was just wondering if any of the published materials I don't own offers anything for that key character of so many fictional - and real-life - plots: the maker of things that go boom. Any terrorist organization had or has its own specialist for that, and maybe there really is a knack to it. At least as much as there's a Talent to be a Healer or a Smooth Operator, I guess.
And if no official source provides it, I'd be happy to read opinions as to the skills that should be included. Thanks! |

In practice, you might just be able to buy a really high Explosives skill and default everything. Otherwise, sounds like armoury, chemistry, explosives, and traps.

For such a talent, Action hints at Scrounging as a worthwhile skill for the "home cooking"/improvising bombmaker.
Also suggests Architecture, Mechanic and Combat Engineering (already suggested above) to make structurally devastating placements. edit: Oh, yeah, and Traps is seconded.
