The five exceptions that are not mistakes were (a) forced on my by the limitations of the medium I was working in, (b) the best correction I could devise for an acknowledged but uncorrected erratum in the rules, (c) putting a brave face on needing user input to seed the PRNG, (d) a Easter egg that presented some information that is implicit in generator output and interesting, and (e) another such Easter egg. And they are all documented on the Read Me tab.

Thanks for the replies Brett, Nakawaros and Anthony. That gives me a bit of a better idea of how the stars in a Binary will impact a world.
Also, thanks for the advice on how to incorporate the second system of worlds Brett, I'll give it a try. |

Oh, and thanks Brett for incorporating Metric units into your spreadsheet.
As a non-Brit, non-American (USA), the yard/feet/mile stuff does my head in sometimes, and I cannot begin to fathom the whole degrees-Fahrenheit thing without an online conversion page open on the computer. |

No problem. In fact, I had to get leaned on to include US customary units, since my first plan was metric-only.

So far any thing that isn't pure GURPS is an option you have to manually enable. I don't see why I wouldn't continue that.
ETA: Let me demonstrate, now that I can get a screenshot of the Options window up: Option Window 1 Option Window 2 Some of these are admittedly because I'm not yet able to offer editing per planet, per star. Last edited by Nakawaros; 03-18-2013 at 09:07 PM. |

I generally do that, although I use derived functions (I was trying my hardest not to implement the table. There was a reason for that, although it strongly looks like it's irrelevant now.)

Also, instead of a slider for the system age, text entry seems like it would be a better choice. It would make it easier to select exactly the age desired. |

There is one on the wiki page for the project, as for the slider, it's XX.YY. (I prefer sliders over text entry because it's less validation work, myself.) |
