Bow of grossly unbalanced combat

So this bow is ranger only, but i had cheated the card and used it. My questions regarding this bow is, Does the cards ability still apply to you if your not a ranger. At the Bottem it specifically says a ranger using the bow......Rangers are disgusting aren't they?

This leads me to believe if it is cheated because you are not a ranger than its ability will not work for me.

Let me know if i am tracking this properly or if i am wrong

Yeah, if it hadn't been worded that way, I'd say that anyone using it could use that ability, but it's too specific. I'm wondering if this is one of those cases where it wasn't Ranger only, but became so through playtest. At any rate, as both cards are written, Cheat! doesn't get around that wording and non-Rangers couldn't use the ability.

I'm confirming, of course, that there wasn't a mistake in using that wording, but for now, we'll go with what I said.

SJ says the intent was not to create a card that snuck around Cheat!, so there's a rewording consideration for that card. Assume that if you're using Cheat! with this card, that you can use its awesome ability. . .
