Perquisition - How To Play [Bites]

Greetings! My name is Keith and I am the owner of Munchkin Bites and Pants Macabre for my group of misfits.

There is a power in Pants Macabre called Perquisition which is a Vampire only ability which we do not fully understand.

It reads "Draw two cards when you Loot The Room. Choose one to keep, and discard the other."

"Loot The Room" has all capitalized first letters to make sure we know when this ability applies. It applies on the third phase of ones turn.

Loot The Room has two possible scenarios:
(1) Met a monster and defeated/killed it. Then you get treasure as marked on the card. Does one with this power then draw two more treasure cards and discard one? Do they only draw two treasure cards, discarding one?
(2)Met no monster or a friendly monster. Then draw ONE door card face down. Does one with this power draw two more door cards, discarding one or do they draw two door cards total, discarding one?

It was intended to refer only to taking cards after you do not fight a monster.

So in the stead of drawing ONE door card after NOT fighting a monster, you draw two door cards after NOT fighting a monster, one of which is discarded.
