Default Curse! Tiny Hands, follow the card or common sense?

Hello
The card "Curse! Tiny hands" specificly says "You cannot carry any 2-handed items"

Does this mean that you CAN use 3-handed items? (3-handed sword) (Since the card says that the only restriction is 2-handed items, not 3-handed.)

Although, common sense would say that also 3-handed items are disabled.

Thanks.

I usually see 3-handed sword used with a Cheat! card. If it is cheated, the tiny hands curse does not apply.

However, if some "otherwise legal" means of using the three handed sword is available (if you actually have three hands), then the tiny hands would not allow the use of the three-handed sword.

MM's official ruling here.

Important note: Curse! Tiny Hands goes so far as to say you can't carry a 2 Hand Item. Carry means to have in play, so the curse goes beyond preventing you from using the Item, but from even having it in play.

Attempt to sell or trade first, then discard.

Sell (if it is your turn, if you are not in combat, and if you have at least 1000gp worth of stuff to sell)

Trade (if you are not in combat)

Discard

Moral: The best time to curse someone with tiny hands is when they are in combat. Not only do they have to drop their two-handed weapon, anything two-handed they are carrying, don't get to sell or trade them, but they don't have a chance to re-equip before the combat is over!

Question:
Someone who has to get rid of a Big item as a result of having lost dwarfness is instructed to give it to the lowest level player who could carry it, and only discard it if there are no eligible players.

Is there a general principle that should apply here - being cursed with tiny hands you must give away 2 and more-handed items before discarding them? ("attempt to trade")

Or is that specific to Big items and dwarvishness and you can proceed directly to discard when cursed with tiny hands?

wait... when can you discard? What does discard mean?

I thought you discard if you are tied levels or the lowest. getting rid of a race/class card. or using an item.

im confused. can you discard before charity then not have to give away your cards?

To lose a card, placing it in the appropriate discard pile. It could come from your hand or a card you have in play.

You can discard a race or class card you have in play, at any time. In general, other cards may only be discarded in certain situations, specified on those cards or others.

No.

Note that the posts in this thread above center around an unusual situation, a forced discard of items you are carrying because the situation has changed so that you are not legally capable of carrying them. It is not an example of someone simply choosing to discard.
