Doesn't have to a conflict. But contrast between characters is usually entertaining. There are lots of stories with two protagonists, nominally on opposite sides, working together and bickering the whole time.

Ok Brown coat. He fought on their side but wasn't a zealot. he is a soldier and understands in war there are winners and losers. He happened to be on the lossing side. Plus he makes good money as a Merc so he has no complaints...right now.

Well then my friends, I believe you'll be hearing from me pretty soon. Give me time to read up the entire IC and OOC, build a character/background and it'll be your choice to take me in, or not.

Overall, I should have everything done either by tomorrow afternoon, or by the wee hours of this very morning if I can't sleep.

And while I'm thinking about it: I have seen all Firefly episodes (own it) and the movie (saw it twice I believe). I haven't read any additional material on the show, but I believe I know enough to wing it.

I might need a bit of help to tweak my character. I've just come to realize that it was 150... and I've done it with 100 ;) More points for me I guess!

What kind of "spacefaring" skills is the crew lacking?
