Default [IC] You Meet In A Tavern

It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents, except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in Waymeet that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness.

Lucky's Tavern was on the edge of town, where you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. Inside, Zak, the owner and barkeep, keep a wary eye out for troublemakers. He felt confident in dealing with any because of his two ogre bouncers, Gar and Thumper. In a corner, idly tossing knuckle-bones was Smet, a dwarf with one eye and a nasty disposition. The tavern was unusually crowded. Not only were the regular low-lifes of Waymeet there, but also a number of caravan guards and drovers who normally prefer to drink in the Golden Swan, a place where you where less likely to have your wallet stolen.
