I have 3 problems that i need help for a supers game.
If some rule-sage here can help me, i will be grateful. 1- I want to make a character that have ability to instantly analyse probabilitys, and that have huge skills with guns. He uses his probability analysis, (represented by the Patten Analysis of Gurps Powers) and his mastery on firearms to hit with extraordinary precision. How can i add "powers" to any weapon he uses? Like the "no active defenses" "no attack roll" "Ricochet" ... Maybe in the future i can add some extra damage too, but for now, what i look for is special effects. But i want it to work with any mundane weapon of any kind that he wants to use. I need help with this, please. 2- The character for question 1, have an ally, that is in fact a young brother that is lerning with him. But he his power is alittle different. He have the power to imbue his bullets with extra cinetic power, so they just do more damage, and maybe pierce some armor, but the damage is the most important. This character will use two .44 pistols, of RoF3 and 3d of damage. The problem is, if i use follow-up, if the first attack not pass the DR, the followup is lost. And someday we will get powerful, and the enemys will start to have huge DRs to resist us, and his power will become useless because he needs to pass the DR with only 3d. (the better he can do is reducing the Pi+ to only Pi, and add a armor reduction (2) but, its not enough with so low damage. (I dont want a first damage roll, them another, its the same bullet, but boosted by his power, only one damage after all...) There is any way to add the damage directly on his weapon? He can do it with any kind of pistol, but only with pistols, hes not proficient with bigger guns right now, maybe in the future, but its not hes style either. If anyone knows how to do this, please help me. 3- I simple dont understand the super-strenght. How it works?! you just pay the extra 300% for str and look at the super-strenght table for damage if you use the super-effort?! Please explain me how it works. Thank you for your time. |
