So, in order to implement 20 Gauge and 4/10 shotguns, I was thinking the damage should stay the same (because the buckshot is the same size), but the shot quantity would go down.
So, since a 12G pump is Dam: 1d+1 pi- and ROF: 2x9, then a 20G pump would be Dam: 1d+1 pi- with ROF: 2x6 and a 4/10 pump would be Dam: 1d+1 pi- with ROF: 2x3. Does that seem reasonable? Also, I have a player that wants to use a Taurus Judge. This is a 5 shot revolver that uses 4/10 shells. It seems to me that it would behave like a regular 4/10 shotgun (assuming buckshot), but have reduced range, so I thought I would reduce the range from 50/125 to 25/70. Also, although it is a revolver, I think the ROF should be a little slower because of the kick it would have, so I was going to give it an ROF of 2. Does that sound reasonable? |
