I have a template I am trying to create which has Rank 1 [5] as an set advantage. Then you have the option of spending 15 more points among a list of advantages, and one of these is Rank 2–4 [5/level].
How can I reproduce this in GCA? I can't just put Rank in a select() list in the template; it won't appear because Rank has already been taken. |

Try adding
Code:
#newitem(AD:Extra Military Rank, 5/10, upto(3), gives(+1 to AD:Military Rank))

Fantastic!
Now, for a followup question: can I hide "Extra Military Rank" from showing, so that I only see, for instance, "Military Rank 4 (includes +3 from Extra Military Rank)"? |

Sure. Just add 'hide(yes)'.
Code:
#newitem(AD:Extra Military Rank, 5/10, upto(3), gives(+1 to AD:Military Rank), hide(yes))

Ah, I see. Not the most convenient thing.
Thanks! |

That's the problem with hiding things... they're hidden!
