So I've searched the forums for an answer but I haven't found anything pertaining to exactly the question I need answered so I'll ask it.
I'm working with Munchkin Cthulhu and using the class cards Cultist and Professor in my example so just work with me. If you have Super Munchkin and have both of those class cards, are you able to use cards that say "Usable by Cultist Only" or "Not Usable by Cultist"? Same also goes for the Professor. In my opinion, because you are two classes, and you obviously aren't only one anymore, you wouldn't be able to use any of those cards. You wouldn't be able to use "Usable by Cultist Only" because you're not ONLY a Cultist, you're also a Professor. Same thing for "Not Usable by Cultist". Just because you're a Professor doesn't mean you're not a Cultist meaning you can't use those cards. I've tried arguing this with my friends but they always say that both types of cards are still usable most likely because they're already using those cards and don't wanna lose their bonuses. If anyone knows of or could show me an official ruling on this (if there is one), that would be great. |

Since you have all the advantages of the Class, you can use any "used only by" card. You also have all the disadvantages, meaning you can NOT use any "not usable by".

You have both the advantages and disadvantages of each class. The ability to use a "Cultist only" Item is and advantage of a Cultist, so as a Cultist-Professor, you can use a Cultist only Item. The inability to use an Item that says "Not Usable by Cultist" is a disadvantage of a Cultist, and since a Cultist-Professor is a Cultist, he can not use that Item.
Your logic, unfortunately, says the following: "He's not a Cultist, but he is," which is clearly incorrect given the wording of the Super Munchkin card. Based on your logic, the Super Munchkin card would be extremely disadvantageous to use. So much so that no one would really want to play it. |

I see your point Mr. Moderator. As I said, my friends wanted it to go their way and I think I wanted it to go my way, so much so that I tried flipping how the cards read until they believed it. Even though I lost my own argument lol, I thank you for the official ruling.
