The important thing about it is that it should should, mind give enough of a guide for converting the rest of the general setting to make the whole of it convertable to Savage Worlds.

Space 1889 has to be one of my favorite settings ever. I even tried to make a GURPS version at one point, and, being as it was fairly straightforward, it worked.

You can't just say that and then not share.

Sure I can. All I have any more is the origional book. My conversion notes died with the computer four sets ago. Sorry.

But that said, all you need is some basic race fu and a good converse with the setting and you're almost there.

I'm sure you are right; it's just that I've gotten to the point where I'm tired of having to convert things from one system to another.

I'm playing the Space 1889 published adventures under GURPS right now. I can't think of anything I've actually had to convert yet, other than picking stats on the fly mid-session for NPCs. I daresay I'll run into something sooner or later, but picking the closest match from High-Tech is working for me so far.

Looks interesting. Too bad its more of a campaign than a new version of Space 1889 under the Savage Worlds rules. Still, I'll be giving it a look.
