Eeeeeenteresting. I may have to call them up and ask after pricing options for my project.

Ok, I think some clarification is needed - the grid is not "raised" or formed into the plastic.

It's applied to the bottom in a thin layer of opaque vinyl. The top has a clear coat of vinyl to protect from dings and scratches, as well.

Signs.CA don't have the vacuum former, but CANUS Plastics (the company I originally approached) do - they just don't do mass screen printing/vinyl printing/whatever. CANUS is pretty well regarded - they do prototyping and product development for the Canadian National Research Council, along with a number of private organizations.

Do you have any idea how many tiles you want? You can PM me to get more information. I'm not posting my email directly to the forum because I'm paranoid about spam bots harvesting it, but if you PM me your email I will email you a mock-up picture of the tiles.

I'd be interested in 25 or 36 tiles depending on cost. I'd like as much information as you can give me. But it seem I can't send PMs. Keep getting the title and message is empty error.

I am interested, in twenty tiles, but I am curious as to how much it will cost to mail them to Australia.

Right. I'm the one who made that as an alternate suggestion. Too bad it's so expensive, because having something to hold chits (and to a lesser extent, pawns) in place would be a godsend at the table I game at. A lot of accidental bumping etc. as folks reach over for the slice of pizza. I hate fiddly bits.

My estimate at the moment is $40 Canadian or thereabouts. I'll try to get something more precise for you, but I probably won't get it until next week some time.
