Just watched M. Knight Shyamalan's Unbreakable, and it struck me that Bruce Willis' character is a hero in specifically rpg terms. That is, he's not realistic, but he's not superhero. He's just at the very extremes of human experience - but on a daily basis.
So, how would we stat him out in GURPS? He was benching 350lbs, so that makes him ST15 or so, perhaps less with Lifting skill or Extra Effort. But he survives car crashes and train crashes... yet is normally vulnerable to drowning. I think I can probably figure out most of it, good old "Hard to Kill" and so on... but what really puzzles me is his precognitive ability. He bumps up against people, and then he gets a vision of the most "criminal" thing they've ever done. This doesn't work at range - he has to touch them. And it only lets him see nasty stuff, he doesn't see them having breakfast or kissing their kids goodnight. What do you guys reckon?
