It's pretty handy to have this type of bow given to you and add the 2 ST to attacks with it, but in the signature gear area the cost just doesn't make it worth it.

Elven bows you need to spend 31 points to get it as signature gear. Pretty expensive.

You could instead just buy signature gear for a regular bow and pay only a point or two for it. Then you could take that extra 29-ish points and put it into 4 Striking ST, which you could use for any weapon damage. I'm sure you can think of plenty of things to put 29 pts into...

As a piece of found equipment, sure it's great. Buying it with cash. Sure if you have that much laying around. Just don't waste the points on signature gear for it.

Is there any reason a character should buy this as signature gear. I mean, from a cost-effectiveness point of view?
