Could you please explain to me, exactly and specifically, how this is this as inconveniencing as "use no edged weapons", "keep silence at all times", "never sleep indoors", or "own no more than your horse can carry"?

When I started to convert all species to GURPS 4e, I mainly used the GURPS 3e Star Wars - Denizens of the Galaxy book from R. Jason Kidd. This Vow was mentioned in his version. Later on I also used the Wookieepedia description and the stats from the WOTC books.

Maybe the Vow is mentioned in on of the novels.

Because it is a limitation to the character's doing and the Hutt doens't want any wars started by killing a messenger of bad news from other Hutt clans.

Quirk at best. Playing a character who doesn't want to shoot himself in the head is limited too, but you don't get points for it in GURPS.

Also, just because an SM +2 creature can have ST 12 by RAW, doesn't mean that it makes any sense at all if they're made out of flesh and bone with a density comparable to a human.

Wait, wait, wait.

Let me see if I understand this here. You used a GURPS 3e book--fanbook--and simply converted all the templates to GURPS 4e? You didn't make up any of the racial templates or anything?

So all the little mistakes and retarded things are this guy Kidd's fault?

I really would like to have the time to read all novels and comics to make a racial template myself. Allas, I don't have the time so I took a combined description of Wookieepedia, WOTC and the 3rd ed. version. Mix it up and convert it to 4th ed.

After all, things keep changing after GL releases new material that conflicts or expands previous known information. At that point I have to make choices and stick to it.

If a GM thinks it would be a quirk at best, so be it and make the Hutt 9 points more expensive.

I guess there are a lot more templates which are not correct. Maybe after some time, when I get some feedback from the readers, I'll correct these iems for sure.

One thing that I have to correct is the Language. These are now under Skills instead of Advantages. My mistake.

Okay, so...is that a yes or a no to my question?

Or you could knock off the 9 points by charging the correct [-10] for Intolerance (All Other Races)... Quirk-level Intolerance indicates rarity, not severity, and non-Hutts are pretty common.

Good point.

But then they react at a -3 to anyone not of their own species.

For the yes or no.
Mistakes in the GURPS 3rd Denizens of the Galaxy are Jason's fault. In the D20 books is WOTC's fault. I'm simply converting these materials to GURPS 4th edition.

Why making up the templates and description myself when there are already detailed templates ready (only just for other systems).

Some races are only mentioned very briefly at Wookieepedia. There were no other RPG that covered these races. So only those templates were made by me.

Well, yeah. Also a cap on Reactions of Neutral. If that seems like too much to you, how about Chauvinist?

So you don't want to participate in a discussion of them, now that they're posted? That's cool, we'll rip it up for you. ;)

I made up my own because it brings me joy, compared to the mental image of a ST 13 human wrestling a Hutt down with a torso grapple (yes I saw ROTJ; they still have to breathe), which makes me tear up a little.

Which isn't necessarily inaccurate.

Ah. So not all of the blame rests on you.

If I seem frustrated or annoyed at you, I am. Because of things like what I posted. Wookiees, for example, get -10p. for Intolerance (Trandoshans)...when it should be a quirk at best. Simple, little, stupid things. If you were just converting everything and not proofreading it, I can understand that.
