Aye, just noting that as presented in the show the "locational" aspect doesn't seem to actually have much impact. You never see a SFB style situation where the rear shields are gone and the Enterprise has to maneuver to keep it away from the line of fire. It's just a block of damage shielding that causes the ship to shake and consoles to explode when hit, rather then ravening beams of force blowing up your warp nacelle - no matter what the actors say :)
