Low-Profile Desk Job
You work in an out of the way cubicle, have a desk that faces the door, a boss that respects your privacy, and/or very few actual responsibilities. For each -1 penalty you take to your daily job roll, you may spend 20% of your workday doing non-work related activities up to -4. These must be activities you can perform while appearing to work, but can include, Research, Self-teaching, etc.... The GM may assign additional penalties for more obvious/risky activities (e.g. preparing a ritual spell).

A perk level variant of Independent Income.

Always gets captchas

You always succeed with captchas on the first try.

You can only be fired from your job if you really screw something up, but not for just sub-average work performance. When there are layoffs, you can't get fired if there is someone younger than you with the same job description.

Perk-level Tenure.

Cute. You still have to show up, but you can spend most of your day doing other stuff.
I've had jobs like that.

A bit too broad for a perk. I'd suggest '+4 to Holdout skill rolls to hide one particular item', or '+1 to Holdout rolls while wearing clothes that you've had time to modify'. The former is a lot like equipment bond, but limited to one narrow skill; the latter is like 'Standard Operating Procedure (always modifies his clothes to have hidden linings, secret pockets, etc)'.

Agreed. Rocket Man already raised an objection and suggested a scaleback.

This is cute (if a bit niche), but should be trumped by Enhanced Time Sense.
Again agreed. Of course, where ETS (or similar cinematic/supernatural traits) is absent, then the Perceptive PC will be the one who notices things first.

Quote:
What does this mean? That you also shave 20% off the time to use Speed-Reading?
Right. Since Perceptives can take in large amounts of information at a glance (what speed-readers already do when scanreading text), it makes the Speed-Reading skill more efficient. But as I told Rocket Man, we can strip off everyting but the "you notice it first" ability and still keep the flavor of the perk.

Like...oh, dunno...surfing certain "stimulating" websites (wink, wink)?

Very reasonable. Thanks for the suggestion -- I especially like the first one, but the second is cool as well.
