Hi all,
Just a quick one, does anyone have a copy of the actual 'car wars font' ? or know of a link to it ? Did SJG ever release it ? Thanks. |

You probably mean Stop; there's a ripoff version on the Downloads page at Autoduel.org.
Other font families you might be interested in include Eras and Russell Square. Hope this helps.

Looks like Computer by Monotype with some of the extra dots removed. It's a font based on the MICR E-13B characters (the ones you'd find on the bottom of your checks in the US).
Computer, Data 70, and plenty of similar fonts (and knockoffs of those) were representing computers everywhere for a couple of decades. The Print Shop from the 80s had one that saw plenty of use; Windows also had one (Westminster) for a while. Hope this helps!

I've had this laying around for a decade or two...
https://www.midwinter.com/~leopard/Autoduel.ttf and it does, indeed, seem to be based on StopD :D |
