Default Random GURPS Generators

First off here are some of my favourites

Random GURPS 4e Monsters

Dungeon Generator

Pyramid Article Random Sci-Fi Gun Generator

However these are not enough for me. I may try and learn the codes to make a new GURPS DF Random Dungeon with monsters and everything else, but thats a bit down the line. Right now I'm using D&D modules and Goodman Game adventures while I work on some of my own Adventures and Massive campaigns. However I can't work on my stuff if I'm constantly changing all the generic monsters inside these Modules.

So I went ahead and got Inspiration Pad 2 (it's free) and read through how to code up your own generators. Its really simple and within an hour I have already coded up a GURPS Bandit Encounter which randomly takes Human, Goblin, Orc, Hobgoblin then randomly assigns them some cheap Armour and weapons (with stats), randomly gives them HP.

It does not look super pretty, I'm still working on it. I will be adding random skills (with random SL) to the generator as well. As soon as I'm completely done with it I will share with anyone interested.

Here are the other Generators I plan on making with Inspiration Pad 2 that are specificly for GURPS 4e

Random Loot Generator
Random Stat Generator for Specific monsters
Random NPC Generator
Guard Generator
Event Generator
Random Wizard Generator
Random Supers Generator


What other generators do you use for GURPS? What would you like to see for GURPS?

Just figured out how one or two out of 50 generated Bandits will have a Good Quality weapon and maybe 2 out of a 100 randomly generated would have Fine quality weapons. This is getting very interesting, I hope to figure out more these upcoming days.

Here is a quick example of what it will come up with. Its not complete I plan to add more to it.

Human
HP: 11
Light Scale Armor (DR 3, Torso)
Short Staff (Swung: 1d cr, Thrust: 1d-2 cr)

Goblin
HP: 10
Leather Armor (DR 2, Torso, Groin, Arms)
Short Staff (Swung: 1d cr, Thrust: 1d-2 cr)

Orc
HP: 14
Leather Jacket (DR 1, Torso, Arms)
Knife, Good Quality: +40% of list price (1d-3 imp, Acc +0, Range 5/10)

I tested the generators that you posted. Awesome. I really need that loot generator though. Haven't even started a DF adventure yet but it would be ideal for any fantasy campaign.

So, I second it or third it if someone else seconded it first.

Fantastic I've book marked it and will put it on the to do list. Still working on the Bandit party generator. I've now added Random names to each random bandit. Orcs will only have orc names, Human only human names. Still working on adding more

Dire Press is excellent. However, it'd be nice to have a random weather generator that generated weather in an ongoing fashion. I.e. If it was the hottest day on record yesterday, then the next day should not be one of the coldest days of the year. This may be a bit much to ask, since the Dire Press weather generator is probably fine for most purposes.

If anyone knows about coding (it uses HTML mostly) I'm really stuck at how to get the generator to put in the proper table for the thrust and swing damage.

It is working sometimes and its because the table will randomly select off the table and only insert it if it randomly selected the proper ST. I have tried everything that I know of (which is not alot). I posted my problem on NBOS forums but I don't know how long it might take. I plan on embeding this in a webpage for all to use. The pdf is available from the NBOS website with the Inspriation Pad 2.0 (it's free)

I know that the @ symbol is used to randomly roll but I have tried everything else that I know of. I'm just stumped.

So far this has exceeded what I thought I could ever do. I guess I will work on my next GURPS Generator until I figure this out on my own or someone is kind enough to point out my mistake.

I finally have my GURPS NPC generator back online:

NPCGen

It uses mostly 4E rules, and has extensive NPC attributes for multiple genres.
