Default Cheat With Both Hands - Losing One Item

Cheat With Both Hands is used to play an item that I normally couldn't use. Later, I play a second item that I normally couldn't use, as granted by Cheat With Both Hands. I now can't transfer Cheat With Both Hands to a new item. Cheat With Both Hands doesn't become discarded until I lose both of the items that it's on; therefore, I can legally lose, sell, or trade one of the items; and Cheat With Both Hands still remains in play.

Let's say that I do lose, sell, or trade one of my Cheat With Both Hands items. Cheat With Both Hands is still in play, but is now only affecting one item. May I then add a new second item to Cheat With Both Hands?

This is all that the current FAQ says, which doesn't really address this scenario:
Quote:
Q. If you have the Cheat card on one item, can you move it to another one?
A. No. Once you perform the initial cheat, the card cannot be moved to another item. So if something happens to make the Cheated item legal for you . . . too bad. You can't transfer your Cheat to something else.
I would guess that the answer would be "no" in this case as well. However, the FAQ is referring to the original Cheat card, which is discarded as soon as the cheated item is lost. Cheat With Both Hands offers this new scenario that still leaves room for a "yes" answer, as one of its cheated items can completely leave play without having to discard Cheat With Both Hands.

As far as I can remember, you are allowed to add a new second item to "Cheat with both hands" as long as you have this card in play an a "Cheat Slot" is available.

That sounds cool!

I searched the forums and FAQ to try and find an official ruling, but couldn't find one. Is this ruling pretty much official?
Thanks!

As far as I know, yes. I've always allowed folks to "Cheat" as much as they can, as long as they have the cards to do so. With the addition of Rigged Demo to my massive decks, there are a lot more cheats to go around.

So according to Munchkin Man's response in this topic:
http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?p=495219
the rulings mentioned in this thread are the ones he's agreeing with?

This discussion is spanning two different threads referring to each other, which is confusing the poo out of me. LOL
